Table Tennis Tournament

On June 4 and 5, a table tennis tournament was held as part of the Kharkiv Student Sports Leagues, with V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University represented by two teams.
The first team of Karazin University won the bronze medals. The team consisted of Snizhana Kovryhina (Educational and Scientific Institute “Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy”), Bohdan Borodin (Educational and Scientific Institute of Philosophy, Cultural Studies and Political Science), and Daniil Pavlusenko (Educational and Scientific Institute of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence).
The second Karazin team, represented by Diana Honcharenko (Educational and Scientific Institute “Karazin Institute of International Relations and Tourism Business”), Ivan Pyvovar (Educational and Scientific Institute of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence), Dmytro Dolia (Educational and Scientific Institute of Ecology, Green Energy and Sustainable Development), and Danylo Bohun (Faculty of Psychology), finished in fifth place.
The tournament was won by students of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, while the team of Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University claimed the silver medals. In total, nine teams from higher education institutions across Kharkiv took part in the competition. All participants demonstrated a high level of preparation, competitive spirit, and a strong desire to win.
The initiative to organize the Student Sports Leagues is being implemented with the support of the Kharkiv City Council and the Department for Family, Youth and Sports Affairs. Its aim is to promote student sports, encourage healthy lifestyles, and foster an active youth community in Kharkiv.
We congratulate the university athletes and their coaches, Oleksandr Anatoliiovych Ishchenko and Leonid Anatoliiovych Akinin, Senior Lecturers of the Department of Basic Military Training, Physical Education and Sports, on their successful performance.
