The national team of Karazin University won the futsal tournament dedicated to the International Students’ Day. The team consisted of students of the Faculty of Radiophysics, Biomedical Electronics and Computer Systems Serhii Bilyk, Valerii Liubimyi, Vladyslav Krymkovyi, Arsenii Buryk, Ruslan Polozhyi (Educational and Research Institute of Public Administration), Volodymyr Stryzhak (Faculty of Physics), Dmytro Prylutskyi (Faculty of Computer Science), Maksym Svyrydov (Educational and Research Institute of Ecology), Anton Kistanov (Faculty of Geography, Geology, Recreation and Tourism), as well as future applicants Yaroslav Shilo, Oleksandr Voitov, Ivan Stepanenko and Maksym Miroshnychenko.

The competition, which took place on 17 November at the Central Park of Culture and Recreation and became one of the stages of preparation of the university’s futsal players for the 2024 Ukrainian Championship among higher education institutions, was attended by 10 teams.

We congratulate the team and its coaches, senior lecturers of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Yurii Petrenko, Yurii Dudnik and the director of the football club «Univer-Loko» Viktor Rodionov.
