In the new academic year, the scientific and methodological seminar of postgraduate students of the Educational and Scientific Institute of “Computer Sciences and Artificial Intelligence” of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University resumed its work.

On September 11, 2025, the first meeting of the seminar took place, at which third-year postgraduate students presented reports on the implementation of individual scientific plans.

In particular, reports were presented by:

• Anatoliy Berchanov - dissertation topic “Infrared image coding method using artificial intelligence models in information systems” (scientific supervisor - Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor V. V. Barannyk);
• Yegor Gavrilyuk - dissertation topic “Optimization of emissions for swarm intelligence algorithms using reinforcement learning” (scientific supervisor - Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor V. M. Strukov);
• Igor Omelchenko – thesis topic “Generalized technology for building logic programming programs based on natural language constructs” (scientific supervisor – Ph.D., Assoc. Prof. V. M. Strukov);
• Ivan Byzov – thesis topic “Information technology for automating server infrastructure management using DevOps tools” (scientific supervisor – Ph.D., Prof. S. V. Yakovlev).

The seminar participants discussed the results of the work performed, provided recommendations on clarifying scientific novelty, formulating the provisions submitted for defense, publishing results in professional publications, and adjusting the topics of dissertation research.
